Nexus Law and Social Politics (NLSP) is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring the complex nexus where legal norms, political institutions, and social structures converge. The journal provides a sophisticated intellectual venue for scholars, policy theorists, and social researchers to examine how law functions as both a tool of political authority and a catalyst for social change. Emphasizing interdisciplinary inquiry, NLSP focuses on structural governance, democratic durability, public policy dynamics, and the institutional forces that shape contemporary socio-legal and political landscapes globally.

Scope and Topics

NLSP invites high-quality original research articles, conceptual models, and critical review papers covering a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary studies, including but not limited to:

  • Political Jurisprudence & State Power: Judicial politics, constitutional design, executive-legislative dynamics, and the legal constraints on political power.

  • Law, Public Policy, & Institutional Governance: Policy formulation and evaluation, administrative reform, state-market relationships, and regulatory governance.

  • Socio-Political Movements & Civil Rights: Legal mobilization, citizenship, social movements, human rights advocacy, and structural inequality.

  • Global Governance, Sovereignty, & Transnational Politics: International legal institutions, geopolitical lawmaking, soft law frameworks, and cross-border regulatory politics.

  • Digital Politics, Media, & Law: Legal regulation of public discourse, digital surveillance, platform governance, and the socio-political implications of emerging technologies.

Publication Frequency

Nexus Law and Social Politics is published twice a year (March and September). Special thematic issues addressing urgent global socio-political transformations or emerging legal crises may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

To safeguard academic integrity and scientific excellence, NLSP enforces a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review policy. Manuscripts submitted to NLSP undergo an initial desk evaluation by the editorial board to verify scope relevance, theoretical depth, and ethical compliance. Submissions passing desk review are evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief retains final authority regarding acceptance, conditional revision, or rejection based on external evaluations.
